I know some of you may be thinking , or even are homeschooling. I thought I would give out some links if anyone is interested.
First and for most if your thinking about. You need to know the law in your state. Here is a good place to start.

From there you need to find a curriculum. Some people prefer to go with a complete packaged curriculum , or online. Others don't use one at all. So that is something you need to decide what is best for you and your family.
My first year with my son , we didn't use one at all. I took the time to assess what he needed as well as what he wanted to learn. I went by a general education guideline for the grade he was in. Looking back , I would say it was not the over all best choice for us. I spent at least 1-3hours a day printing stuff out , and hunting down what I needed to teach. But just because it didn't work for me , it may work for one of you.
Here are some of my favourite links Homeschool Curriculum online , k-8th grades. The monthly membership is $19.95 for the first child and $14.95 for each additional child, with nothing else to buy.
The site is set up for Windows and Mac , but I have used Ubuntu Linux for the last 3 years with their site , after doing an add on for my browser. Free Online Grade Book

I saved this one for last. It covers sex ed in a modern way. I suggest parents look through the site and videos before letting your kids go there.

My 11 year old son and I sat down together and watched the videos and he laughed, and of course asked lots of questions. This site might not be fore everyone when it comes to this topic.
