Lots of velvet dresses; gaudy necklaces; black Polo Ralph Lauren Outlet tights; high-water pants; patches on pants; brown fur jackets; aviator-style leather vests; low belts; ruffled shirts; beaded caps; sequined loose babydoll tops; fishnet lace gloves.

Lamar, I am totally loving the new site! I have had a chance to really look around and am so glad you have put the time into it. I am a rural homesteader in a suburb of Tacoma/Seattle. I bought Lamar's ebook: Simple Solar Homesteading about 3 years ago and loved it! I am sure his newest book is awesome and as soon as I get my external hard drive set up I will be getting it. For anyone interested in yet another homesteader site and meat rabbits, you can check my site out at: www.thetreehousehomestead.com

I think it's great that The Homesteader News is active again!!

I'm not wild about the font on some of the pages - blue heading with black font below; that reminds me of the format used when you type in the wrong address and are sent to a look alike page that eally isn't a web site.

What Happened? Was wondering what happened to ya all!
So far I like the new layout, altho it is a bit more High-Tech looking than I was used to!
Looking forward to seeing you in my In Box!

Hi Robb, the wind generator did OK until we had a 70 mph wind snap one of the blades. It needs heavier duty blades and I will be making my own. Enjoy the new HN!

I am most definitely looking forward to HN becoming active again. I really like the idea of having a place where I can come to ask questions and get real, serious answers. Right now I would like to ask Lamar how your windmill is working out. Has it been worth the money, or not?

HN is in a transition and I am considering some changes to sections so articles may not appear right away.

Please be patient with us and we will do our best to get it working better!

Loved Tanya's article about raising hogs! Just the kind of down-to-earth, practical advice I like to read. Keep up the good work!
